To Offer 430 Yearlings At Keeneland Vendues VenduesPavilion Pavilion in Which to Conduct Sales Is Hearing Completion CompletionLEXINGTON LEXINGTON Ky June 19 With practically every major Kentucky farm which produces thoroughbred yearlings for auction as well as Virginia Tennessee and other states represented approximately 430 yearlings are expected to be sold during the summer sale of the Breeders Sale Company at Keeneland The vendues will begin Monday July 31 and continue through Thursday August 3 3The The sales company which was organized last fall by breeders from several states is erecting a sales pavilion at Keeneland in which to conduct the sales and construc ¬ tion of the building will be completed within the next two weeks It will be cooled by two large fans installed in the roof and the company plans to make it the only air conditioned sales arena for horses in the country when equipment for that purpose is available availableTwo Two sales will be held each day and the company has placed a limit upon the num ¬ ber of horses to be offered in each session except in cases where one consignor has an entire afternoon or evening to himself Fiftyfive horses are expected to be sold each afternoon and fifty each night Every yearling catalogued will be offered in the sales ring unless excused by a veterin ¬ arians certificate stating he is unfit for sale at the time scheduled scheduledDoc Doc Bond of Versailles Ky who has sold thoroughbred horses throughout the United States for many years and George Swinebroad of Lancaster Ky who also is well known throughout the country as a horse auctioneer will be in the stand dur ¬ ing the four days daysAmong Among the famous thoroughbred nurser ¬ ies which will offer yearlings in the sale are Arthur B Hancocks Claiborne and Ellers lie Studs P A B Wideners Elmendorf Farm Warren Wrights Calumet Farm Thomas Piatts Brookdale Farm E D Shaffers Coldstream Stud Mrs John Hertzs Stoner Creek Stud Walter J Sal ¬ mons Mereworth Farm Leslie Combs Jjs Spendthrift Farm and Hal Price Headleys Beaumont Farm Other consignments to the sale include those of H B Scott E K Thomas Col Phil T Chinn Lewis J Tutt Woodvale Farm Ira Drymon W L Nutter Charles A Asbury Thomas Carr Piatt John Marsch Forest Retreat Farm Charles Nuckpls Charlton Clay W S Threlkeld Marzmall Field Lt Warner L Jones Jr E D Axton Tollie Young Horace N Davis Dr Charles E Hagyard A B Gay and many others
