Play Ball in Italy COLLJNSVILLE 111 June 19 In spite of the Fifth Army putting up a stiff battle in Italy some members of the Aviation Service Command have time to play base ¬ ball according to a letter received by B S Eddy Jr from his son Maj F H Eddy who is stationed in Italy In the letter the major told his father the outfit has a great baseball team and has a record of 11 straight victories Major Eddy stated the team pitcher is Walter P Wagner of nearby St Louis Wagner was a frequent visitor to Fairmount Park before the war and is known by many racegoers
