Nine Granted Adjournments NEW YORK. N. Y.. June 1.— Nine men, who were arrested at Jamaica yesterday on bookmaking charges, were granted adjournments for hearings on various dates between June 6 and June 11 by Magistrate Francis J. Giaccone in Ridgewood felony court. Queens, today. Eight of the men were held in 00 bail, and one, listed as Jerry De Maio of 115-42 132nd St., Ozone Park, was held in ,000 bail. Others arrested were Hyman Saul, 595 West End av., Manhattan; Frank Napolitano. 101-20 Ninety-ninth St., Ozone Park: Joseph Anniello, 134-17 Ninety-seventh av., Jamaica; Vincent Mo-zea, 57-17 Seventy-ninth st.. Ozone Park; Sam Jacobs. 1711 E. Fifteenth st.. Brooklyn: Louis Greenspan, 236 E. Fifty-sixth St.. Manhattan; Jacob Diegelman, 12 Kenil-worth place, Brooklyn, and Charles Snyder, 84 Kingston av.. Floral Park. The arrests were made by detectives of the New Yorls police department.
