The latter assumed command before going a quarter mile, made the pace to the final furlong but was unable to withstand the winner. FLEMINGSBURG, outrun to the stretch, finished fast. TINY SIS raced prominently to the stretch then tired. BACK TO BACK was unable to threaten. QUEEN ADVICE gave wav after forcing the pace during the first half mile. FAVORITE TRAP was outiun. REPUBLICAN* raced evenly in a good effort and had no mishaps. HARPSICHORD began fast, made the pace to the upper turn then tired. TATU began slowly. ROZIANTE neyer was prominent. KATES SILVER saved ground throughout while racing evenly and finished in a dead heat with DOROTHYS BOY for third. The latter, on the outside, finished fast under punishment and was on equal terms with KATES SILVER at the end. VALDINA CCTUP never was dangerous. MAECHANCE could not threaten.
