BOUNTEOUS, a prominent factor, saved ground and shook off opposition in the final eighth. STARGAZER was well up all the way, but swerved in the stretch run when pressed. GEORGIE V. was away slowly, was taken in hand and sent between the leaders rounding to the stretch turn, then came to the outside and was steered to the inside in the final eighth. RAVENALA was sprinted into command after the start, drew away, but was tiring. STILL BLUE was taken under restraint when outrun, but came again at the finish. FAISEUR was kept forwardly all the way and had no mishaps. TAMBO moved op stoutly entering the stretch and was in close quarters. NOVTEW raced well. SKIN DEEP showed an even effort.
