Shot Put in Light Training STICKNEY. 111.. June 14— The one-time marathon star. Shot Put, owned by Mrs. Marie Evans, is back under light training at Hawthorne under the direction of J. J. Greely. The veteran campaigner, who scored many notable triumphs in Chicago and elsewhere several years ago, will not get into competition during the current meeting, but his connections have hopes of racing him at Washington Park.
