GEORGIE V., a forward factor from the start, responded to urging in the final eighth and out fin ished THE PROBLEM. The latter was rushed Into contention from a slow beginnine, assumed command enteiing the final eiehth and then hung at the finish. WAYMARK laced forwardlv all the wav and had no mishaps. STARGAZER began slowly, but closed steadily on the inside. BLACK NYLON raced well throughout. EASY SPELL tired. SUPER DAUBER, on the outside, had a flash of early speed. Z ACORN tired badly. SEA CONVOY, well up on the inside, •hook off opposition in the stretch and drew away. BLENCO was under pressure while on the inside in the stretch run, then hung. ROYAL WEISTA showed a good effort throughout. CRUISER, could not keep up. EDAHASTE made a determined bid in the stretch run anil then faltered. The others had no mishaps.
