J. Dean Jessop to Ride Out Meeting at Omaha Piloted 45 Winners During First 21 Days of Racing at Fairmount COLLINSVILLE, 111., June 23.— Apprentice J. Dean Jessop, leading rider at Fair-mount Park, expects to leave over the weekend for Omaha, where he will ply his trade for the remainder of the Ak-Sar-Ben meeting. Jessop, who scored 45 victories during I the first 21 days of the local spring meet- I ing, here, is under contract to Guy and Floyd Shultz. Guy Shultz, trainer of the establishment, i also announced that he was shipping his string to Omaha tomorrow. Included in the stable are horses who have won during the session. Making up the Shultz brothers unit are Namur, Mike K., Navy Day, Ace of Spades, Tyro Lad, Miah, Droop, Air Actress, Whiz K., Meanwhile and Pat K. The stable will race at Omaha until completion of that meeting, then will go to River Downs, and return here for the fall session. Jessop was one of the most popular riders to perform before local racing fans. He won four races on three different occasions last week, and performed that feat once this week. In all, the westerner copped four races on one program five different times since the beginning of the season. *
