MAGDALA disposed of EBRO after £«ing a half, responded to a shaking up entering the stretch and won without need of further urging. MERRY SUNSHINE, slow to reach her best stride, saved ground throughout and tinished willingly under punishment, but could not threaten the winner, althoueh much the best of the others. EBRO assumed command early, made the pace to the stretch under pressure from MAGDALA, but had nothing left for the drive. CHANCE SORD went evenly without mishap. ABLE was outrun.
