Illinois Notes WASHINGTON PARK. Homewood, 111., June 26. I Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Hogan, who have horses racing at Washington Park, were here from Louisville for Mondays opening J. H. Skirvin arrived from New York with the stable of horses he will campaign at Washington Park for A. C. Ernst. Those for whom S. B. Ott will race horses at Washington Park this summer are the Coldstream Stable. J. J. Daniels, L. C. Sprague and Mrs. Thelma Ott. Jockey Stanley Freeman has changed his plana and instead of going to Suffolk Downs will remain here. The Coward and Du Puy stable arrived today from California. Among the horses was the veteran handicap performer Marriage. 1 The HBP A received ,130 through the deduction of one per cent of purses won by members during the Lincoln Fields meeting at Hawthorne. The horses C. A. Grande brought here for the Rivermont Ranch of Mrs. Elizabeth Muckler were Commiseration. Air Gee. i River Baby. River Jack. River Pat, River Chance and River Play. Apprentice C. Lane had his first mount on a major track when he rode at Washington Park Monday afternoon. Lane is a native of Preneston. Ky., and is under contract to Otto Bagley. Arthur Goldblatt is leaving for Cincinnati and Lexington and hopes to bring back several horses for racing at Washington Park.
