Commission Rulings RulingsReported Reported to DAILY RACING FORM In yesterdays commission rulings an amendment to Section of Rule 229 of the Illinois Racing Board rules of racing the reason for the amendment should have read as fol ¬ lows The purpose of this amend ¬ ment is that NO one will be allowed to use a spur or spurs in a workout or in a race raceIn In the amended Section D of Rule 229 the words and spurs was stricken out to make Section D read as follows If any person shall ad ¬ minister a drug or stimulant inter ¬ nally or by hypodermic method prior to a race or shall use in a race or in a workout appliances electrical or mechanical other than the ordinary whip every person so offending shall be ruled off
