Abandon Assessment Plan PlanLEXINGTON LEXINGTON Ky May1 20 A proposed increase of 20 per cent in the assessment of livestock including thoroughbreds in Fayette County was abandoned after a state tax commission hearing yesterday at Frankfort Gayle Mohney Tom R Under ¬ wood and other representatives of Blue Grass bloodstock interests conferred with the Commission of which Clyde Reeves is chairman in an effort to arrive at an equit ¬ able method of horse assessment Mohney pointed out that there is no ruleofthumb on the value of a horse The commission now has under advisement a 10 per cent increase in farm tax
