White Legs Reported in Top Condition ConditionBELMONT BELMONT PARK Elmont L L N Y May 20 White Lady the three year old daughter of Mahmoud Top Flight who showed such a courageous effort in her first outing here the other day showed no ill effects of the long drive to which she was submitted and will soon again be seen under colors Daughter of the Epsom Derby winner of 1936 and a mare who during her twoyearold year 1931 earned the thenamazing total of 219000 by winning all her seven starts White Lady finally showed some of the promise counted upon last year While scheduled to fulfill stakes engagements at Saratoga her leg was injured in the gate Xrays disclosed a broken small bone in her knee and she was shipped to the C V Whitney farm where skillful veterinary treatment resulted in cure after the injured member had been encased in a cast for three months She should win more races and is an eligible for both the A rn and the Coaching Club American Oaks On her breeding and only public performance she is one of racings brightest sum prospects
