Strub Named Opera Director DirectorLOS LOS ANGELES Calif May 24 Charles H Strub executive vicepresident of the Los Angeles Turf Club operators of Santa Anita Park and Lake Arrowhead has been appointed a director of the Metropolitan Opera Association Strub who is also vice president and a director of the Greater Los Angeles Opera Associates Inc expressed himself as being very happy about the election declaring that his principal in ¬ terest would be to bring the Metropolitan to Los Angeles each season
