Leaves for England in Interests of Gold Cup CupBELMONT BELMONT PARK Elmont L I N Y May 25 James Butler president of Empire City Racing Association flies from LaGuardia Field late tomorrow afternoon on another tour of England France and Ireland in the interests of the second running of the Gold Cup Empires international event in ¬ augurated last July This year the race at the same distance a mile and fiveeighths for threeyearolds and upward weight forage will be held on Saturday October 16 It will be at Belmont Empire moving for that one day from its meeting at Jamaica JamaicaButler Butler will go direct to London aboard an American Overseas plane He will remain in London through the running of the Derby at Epsom Downs on June 5 After several days at New ¬ market Butler will go to Ireland and then to France returning to this country on June 15 via air France FranceAccompanying Accompanying him will be Robert B Young a former formeramateur amateur rider and a member of national steeplechase and hunt huntcommittees committees Young will remain abroad after the return of ofButler Butler arrangingthe and act as liason officer there for Empire in arranging the shipment of entries for the race over here
