Delawares First Condition Book Released DELAWARE PARK Stanton Del May 26 Delaware Parks initial condition book covering the first 15 days from May 29 to June 17 has been released by racing secretary J Gilbert Haus In addition to the conditions for the races the book contains the list of the 15 stakes to be run during the meeting Headed by the 10000 Wilmington Handicap a six furlong dash for threeyearolds and upward Haus has arranged an attractive program for the initial day of the 30day meeting There are only two claiming races on the eightrace card both of which should bring forth betterthanaverage thoroughbreds as they will be running with 15000 and 10000 claiming tags Twoyearold fillies who have not won two races other than maiden or claiming will run in the opening event for a purse of 3500 at ie furlongs Maiden threeyearold sprinters will match strides in the second race which will be at six furlongs The third race will befor threeyearolds at one mile and a sixteenth The fourth event is the Bridgeville at six furlongs for fouryearolds
