California Breeders Assn Will Sell 130 Yearlings LOS ANGELES Calif May 27 The sale of California yearlings will be held at Santa Anita July 19 and 20 according to an announcement by Walter G McCar ty president of the California Thorough ¬ bred Breeders Association AssociationEstablishing Establishing a new pattern for the an ¬ nual California sales the association this year is limiting the number of yearlings offered to 130 and will confine the sale to two evening sessions The 130 yearlings to go in the ring will be chosen by a special association committee from among all of the produce entered by California breed ¬ ers through a method of selection designed to limit the summer vendue to the pick of the crop
