Stewart Rides 40th Winner Loses SevenPound Allowance AllowanceFAIR FAIR GROUNDS Detroit Mich June 10 Apprentice Jimmy Stewart under con ¬ tract to R S McLaughlin of Oshawa Can ¬ ada but leased for the meeting to Samuel J Brown of Detroit rode his fortieth win ¬ ner on yesterdays program and forfeits his claim to the sevenpound apprentice allowance He will enjoy a fivepound al ¬ lowance until August 9 which is one year from the date of his first saddle success After August 9 Stewart will be entitled to a fivepound allowance for his contract employer only for another year yearStewart Stewart gained a 100 award donated by the Detroit Racing Association to riders piloting three winners in one day when he brought home Grand Stables Shirt Band and S J Browns Alanay and Nuneral on yesterdays program
