Louisiana Senate Approved Racing Days Extension Bill BillBATON BATON ROUGE La June 19 Before the customary weekend adjournment here Friday night the Senate approved by a vote of 30 to 1 the Rainold bill providing for the extension of the maximum num ¬ ber of days that racing can be held in each parish county The measure is now ready to be submitted before the House HouseThe The Rainold proposal would permit a total of 90 days of racing in each parish instead of 75 as specified in the original law enacted in 1940 under the guidance of Mayor de Lesseps Morrison who was a member of the House of Representatives at the time I Whether the Fair Grounds Corporation the only association to be licensed by the Louisiana State Racing Commission since its creation will avail themselves of addi ¬ tional days is problematical at the moment
