Storm Didnt Affect Track TrackDELAWARE DELAWARE PARK Stan ton Del June 19 An electrical storm which hit this area early today brought no damage to this racing plant according to track superintendent Clarke Pardee As far as the track itself is concerned the rain fell so hard and so fast that most of it ran directly off the surface Pardee said The rain which did soak through the surface was taken care of by the excellent drainage system The new training track held up well under its first big storm
