LOST ANGEL, never far off the early pace, came out some to reach a runner-up position leaving the half-mile ground, acquired a short lead at the furlong marker and while fully extended, held on gamely to the wire. B MINOR lost some ground when in close quarters on the turn, found an opening to come between horses when the leaders fanned out and was getting to the winner BROAD BACK shuffled about on the first turn, responded well when straightened down the backstretch, bettered position somewhat at the head of the lane and closed resolutely. QUEEN 0 NIGHT came from well out of it to make up ground and passed some tiring horses in the late rally. QUICK TULIP was quick to establish a clear lead while setting the early pace, then tired. ALL IN FUN had no apparent excuse. DOWN TOWN was never a taiw-.R- JUSTCE hung after moving well to the early stretch. BOSS FOOT stopped as usual.
