The Crisis was much the best, displayed keen speed throughout and won bb her rider pleased. Siege tired perceptibly in tho last sixteenth. She shows gradual improvement. Nanlahka met with early entanglement and did not get clear sailing until well straightened for home, where she finished stronglv neit to the inside rail. Aylmer Bruce ran in improved form and will bear watching from now on. Vestry showed early speed but tired fast when the pinch came. Overweights Siege, 3 pounds ; Aylmer Bruce, 4. Off at the first break to a good start. Won easily; second the same. Silver Fizz easily wore down Light Ball in the last eighth and won as her rider pleased. Light Ball showed much improvement over his last race and is rounding to his best form. He showed speed, hut tired slightly in the last eighth. Limelight was a keen contender for six and a half furlongs, but faltered noticeably when the pinch came. Fridolin showed to advantage, finishing fast after being cut off slightly in the last eighth. Bad News, outrun the first quarter, finished forcefully next to the inside rail in the last eighth. Agnes Mack showed a keen turn of speed, but as usual showed a faint heart when the "pinch came. Pink Coat was at his bast, always laid well up to Jiminez and when called on in the final eighth responded with a winning burst of speed. J. Winkfield, when he saw he held Jiminez safely in the last eighth, Eurposely drew a fine finish. Jiminez ran to his best form, but was simply not good enough. Cougar met with much interference throughout, but closed up ground fast when be got clear sailing down the last quarter. Harney showed much speed, but tired slightly when tho last sixteenth struggle came up. Tizona finished Ftrongly. Delia Ostrand was badly interfered with at the start and had to be pulled up. She made up much ground from the half-mile post and was passing horses fast in the last sixteenth. Wyola tired so fast in th final eighth that she bean to swerve and bumped into Fairbury.
