Centie was very well ridden, came strongly in the stretch and won drawing away. Budweiaer was going well when he was bumped by Dr. Kammerer and Hannah Lady, and this hurt all of them. When clear he finished fast. Miss Knickerbocker, badly ridden, pulled up at the start and generally misused, ran a good race and was probably best. Pathos made up much ground from a poor send off . Hannah Lady, Dr. Kammerer and The Forum showed early speed. Marchioness got off badly, but ran a poor race and can do better. Scratched-35192 Flash of Night, 90. Overweights Pathos, 3 pounds. Vestry ran in improved form and hnng on well. Gas Lighter went well to the stretch, then the hard track seemed to hurt his infirm foot. Gold Bell ran a bad race. Ponrauoi Pas tired badly. She was off badly, closed up a lot of ground and rn a winning race from where she got H. Delagoa tired in chasing FoundlinK and quit badly. Evening Star diplajed much improvement and ran a good race. If You Dare was well ridden, carefully rated behind the pacemakers, came fast in .the stretch and wore Kfbdred down at the end. Kindred has been steadily improving and set a hot pace, but was just a shade short Louis Wagner, poorly handled, can do better.
