WILL PUT PENARRIS OVER JUMPS. Saratoga, X. Y., August 17. Schwartz Brothers bave decided to make a steeplechaser of Pcnarris. The son of Garry Hermann lias become a sulker, but trainer John Miller believes he will make good through the lield. Many a .horse of good class lias become too sulky to race on the Hal, hut has jumped well. T. S. Martin, the winner of the Whitney Memorial Steeplechase, was a sulky flat runner. Pcnarris won the United States Hotel Stakes at Saratoga last summer and he is a good horse again, lie will go into the stable of Mike Daly, James W. Colts trainer. Daly has saddled more cross-country winners this season than any other steeplechase trainer in the country. Daly will make an effort to get Pcnarris to the post in the Harbor Hill, Belmont Parks special for three-year-old fencers, which was won last Tall by T. S. Martin. Pcnarris is a big, well-developed colt and he should not lind carrying big weight difficult.
