CAPTAIN BURNETT TO RETIRE. Fort AVorth, Tc.v., October 22. Captain S. B. Burnett, owner of a racing stable and a breeding farm near here, known as ranch 0500, has decided to sell all of his runners and retire from the turf. Among the horses to be sold are Ollic Burnett, Captain Lytic, Darnox and Anadarco. He has sent to the races from his farm such well-known horses as Taby Tosa, Kiowa Chief, Quannah Parker, T. J. Powell, Speedway and others which have been successful on the tracks of the middle west. Captain Burnett says he cannot give the necessary time to the racing end of breeding, and While his stable has made him money he is going to sell all his horses in training.
