TRAINER VEITCH IN LUCK. Silas Veitch will, it is said, succeed Ben Pope as the trainer of the Bonniebrook Stable next year. Mr. Veitch trained for Courtland II. Smith during the past season. "George Saportas, owner of the Bonniebrook Stable, is contemplating spending next season Iu Europe, and Veitch will have entire charge of his stable during his absence.
