STILL FEARFUL OF AN INVASION W Allison writing in the London Sportsman says I learn that already five or six Meddler yearlings C II Mackays have been shipped to bo trained at Beckhamptoii and there will be others coming up at the December sales All this is se ¬ rious for English breeders and owners and though it is clear enough that the Jockey Club stewards will not permit any but tlie best cjass American owners to have horses trained here there Is no bar against all the breeders in America flooding our market with their stock for sale Messrs Tatter sail alone could exercise a sort of censorship In this matter
