NOTES OF THE TURF FROM OTHER LANDS. 1. Maher, who rides as first jockey to Lord Rose-bery, will for 1014. as heretofore, ride as a free lance in other respects. Prince Lubomhski coutemplates sending Mosci Ksiaze across the channel next year to run for the Ascot Gold Cup. The Belgian jockey, J. Hopper, having received three warnings with insertions in the "Bulletin Otticeil" during the present year, has been suspended by the Committee of the Belgian Jockey Club. The gallops on the hill at Ilednesford. where Kremon and Jenkinstown had their final gallops before winning the Grand National, have been transformed into a golf course by the Marquis of Anglesey. M. X. Balll has again obtained third call on Prank ONeills services for the mining year. It will lie remembered that that jockeys first mounts belong to Mr. W. K. Vaiiderbllt and his second to Karon Edouard de Rothschild. flie brothers Frank and Stanley Wootton will not ride any more and they are going for a holiday at the close of the present racing season to Australia, prior to taking up a iHisition as trainers in England, where they will permanently reside.
