GLOAMINGS GREAT RECORD New Zealand Gelding Wins Sprint ¬ ing Stakes in 45 Seconds Son of The Welkin and Light a aHorse Horse of Marvelous Speed Has Won 111365 Gloaming the Australian middle distance cham ¬ pion made a new mark at a half mile in a New Zealand race hist January of 45 seconds Evi ¬ dently the fleet gelding is again in his best form and is winning races witli Jus old dasli and speed In the land of his birth New Zealand ZealandGloaming Gloaming is again on his way to the Australian continent to measure himself a second time witli the best of the horses of the Victoria and New South Wales Districts SMCU as Poitrel Cetigne and Kennequhair in weightforage races and handicaps Gloaming bled in a race at Randwick last yaar and was sent home supposedly at the end of his career He has however won twelve times in succession since Poitrel downed him in the Australian Jockey Club Spring Stakes and is now added to the Aus ¬ tralian and New Zealand list of winners of 100000 and over
