Won easily; second and third driv-ng. VANDERBURG, close up from the start, gained steadily after entering the stretch and, taking the cad in the last eighth, was going away at the end. SOGGARTH AROON came fast through the stretch ind outgamed DRUID HILL at the end. The latter was much used in racing KNIGHTHOOD into defeat ind tired. Won driving; second and third the same. TIDINGS began slowly, but closed a big gap and, coming fast through the stretch, raced into the lead and won going away. DAN BOLLING saved ground on all the turns and finished with a rush. ROLO raced into a clear lead, but tired in the final drive. WHALEBONE ran well. TUBBY A. set the early pace, but was in close quarters at the eighth post and tired. GOLDEN RULE was on the outside for the .entire race and came very wide on the stretch turn, but finished with a belated rush. COMIXA showed the most early speed and saved ground on all the turns, but tired in the stretch. BETTER TIMES ran well and finished close up. JOLLY began slowly. PAUL JONES raced ICELLERMAN into early defeat and, taking the lead, drew away steadily and won in .1 canter. RUBIDIUM could never get to the winner, but ran a good race and held PILGRIM safe In the final drive. The latter would not extend himself in the early running, but finished fust and out-gamed KELLERMAN. The latter showed the most early speed. DREAM OF ALLAH quit. CHAMPLAIN set a fast pace and, saving ground on the turns, hung on gamely in the final drive. AVOODLAND was cut off at the eighth post and had to be taken up, but outgamed DESPAIR at the end. GALLIVANT saved ground when entering the homestretch and finished fast, but could never get to the winner. ON HIGH ran well and outstayed BRIBED VOTER.
