IRISH ELDING VERSATILITY Jce Canty, one of the best of Irish riders, recently rode A. B. C. to win at Manchester and tho next day won at Birmingham in the Ashton Steeplechase on Southend. The average Irish jockey is usually a pretty good general horseman. If he has sense and skill his knockabout schooling gives him an all-around knowledge in racing.
