3 = « Public Invitation to Homewood Illinois Jockey Club invites the public to visit, on Sunday, the new THE Washington Park race course, which is located at Homewood, 111., and where the inaugural meeting will begin on Saturday, July 3. With the completion of the stables, horses are beginning to arrive, and it is expected that several hundred head of thoroughbreds will be unloaded on Monday and Tuesday. The work on the grandstand is progressing, and the management is confident that everything as planned will be completed before the bugle calls the horses to the post next Saturday.
