DELAWARE BILL DEFEATED BOWIE. Md.. April 9. — News was received at the track of the result of the racing bill in Delaware with some regret and also with some congratulation, by reason of the close count. The bill to provide for a com-niission and the legalizing of the sport passed the senate by a vote of 9 to 7 and it resulted i:i a tie vote in t!.e louse. While this defeated the measure and the legislature adjourned later, it means there can be no action for another tw" ear , but such a close fight heartens friends of the sport to continue the fight to have Lklaware added to the turf column.
