«- ■ MAIBEN TO RIDE AT HAVRE BOWIE, Md., April 9.— Jockey J. Maihen kept to the shelter of the jockey quarters, wearing the upper joints of one of his little fingers in splints, the result of his accident of closing day at Miami. A Florida physician assured the veteran riding star that he had escaped with hruises. but closer examination upon his recent arrival here revealed a broken last joint. It has proven occasionally painful, but has not interfered with his work. Maihen will become more active with the arrival of the T. J. Healey division of the W. J. Salmon and R. T. Wilson strings at Havre de Grace next week. The divisions which trainer .lack 1ryoe has baca campaigning will be sent to the Harford track next Tuesday.
