Won driving: second and third the same. CRIMSON DAWN raced close up from the start, came resolutely through the last mile of the race and. challenging the tiring leaders at the final obstacle, took the lead, but had to be vigorously ridtV-n to outfinish MAUREEN BAVfX. The lattef was saved far hack for a mile and a half, then gained rapidly and was going fastest at the end. NEAP-TIDE showed aptness in taking the jumps and withstood challenges from NOMAD, but tired in the final drive. SAINT PANCRAS took the lead under sufferance, but made a bad landing at the eleventh jump, then came again after recovering. NOMAD ran a good race, but was made too much use of and tired. KNIGHT ra.ed LITTI-E BROOM into defeat in the first three-eighths and saved ground on all the turns and. rating gamely, in a severe drive, came again and outfinished SCOTCH AND SODA. The latter ra- d to the leaders with a rush after rounding the far turn and took a brief lead at the eighth l ost. but tired. REPROVE, sluggish at the start, was badly outpaced early, then made up ground steadily in the last half mile and finished fast. LITTLE BROOM set the early pace, but ran out on the last turn and tired. INLAID showed sjiced. ERIN GO BRAGH was eased up. GOLDEN" VOLT took the lead at once and saved ground on all the tu-ns. but could not Withstand the winners rush. MEDICS gradually improved his position and f.nished gamely. DEXTER raced nell throughout, but lo*t ground when entering the home stretch. CLEAR SKY was going fast througli the stretch. TYPECI TTER showed speed on the back stretch SALUTATION had no mishaps. SUCKY began sluggishly and was always far back. LONG POINT, away fast, raced into the lead and, making the pace fast, withstood a challenge from GYMKHANA and held the latter safe while racing under a pull. GYMKHANA, always in nearest pursuit, made several challenges, but was held safe. CHINK was hard ridden, bnt could not gain on the leaders. MARK MASTER closed up resolutely in the last half mile. BIGHEART was always outrun. GRIERSON raced well for five-eighths.
