YOUNG LOVER STAKE WINNER Special Cablegram. NEWMARKET, Ensland, May 10.— Sir Archibald Butts Young Ix ver, a brown colt by Son-in-Law— Tryst, won the Newmarket Stakes, at one mile and a quarter, today. He scored by half a length over Lord Carnarvons King Salmon. Lapped on them, beaten three quarters of a length by King Salmon, was the Comte de Rivauds Assuerus. There were nine starters. The winner was 100 to 6, King Salmon, 7 to 2, and the French Invader, 11 to 2. Young Lover and King Salmon are candidates for the Derby, which will be run May 31 at Epsom Dawns.
