Detroit Owners to Race Stables at Home Track TrackStalls Stalls Are Requested by Dixiana Tall Trees Dearborn and Otters OttersDETROIT DETROIT Mich May 14 Detroit turf patrons are going to play a big part in the 72day race meeting which begins at the local Fair Grounds on May Mayv v 22 for of the 900 odd thoroughbreds expected to take part in the sport here more than 100 are the property of Motor City residents residentsSeme Seme of the prominent Detroiters whose horses are to enter competition here are Charles T Fisher owner of Dixiana Mrs Frank J Navin who maintains the Tall Tress Stable James Powers and Morton Donnelly whose owners fly the Dearborn Stable silks C B Bohn and P A Markey masters of Bomar Stable Mrs C C Win ¬ ters Lieut Theodore D Buhl Mrs M M Johr George and Joseph Cohen and George Krehbiel KrehbielDixiana Dixiana will be represented by eight thoroughbreds including the smart three yearold Amber Light winner of the Louisi ¬ ana Derby and fourth in the recent run ¬ ning of the Kentucky Derby Amber Light is being given a brief rest and is to swing back into action before the Detroit season is long under way Other and also useful members of this string ar Sportsman Spy Snare Empty Plate Hit Tune and Beau Wolf In the stable also is Royal Red who will fly the silks of Miss Mary Fisher daughter of Dixianas owner ownerThe The handicap horses Ball Player and Sea Marriage and Buena Ventura Milk Punch Scrooge Royal Shawl El Osuna War Counsellor and Blue Moonlight are among those whom the Tall Trees Stable will campaign here while the Dearborn Stable establishment embraces such able performers as Overdrawn Thisisit Swain Dungeon Runaway Boy Albino and Nel ¬ son Dunstan Lieut Buhls stable is headed by Sweep Swinger and the Cohen brothers have such horses as Bold and Bad Cer ¬ berus Big Meal and Media Luna LunaAll All of the Detroit patrons with stables here have horses who win races wherever they go and fev days will go by when none of them figure prominently dn the decision of features and overnight events presented at the Fair Grounds
