For convenience of horsemen whose stables are quartered at Hawthorne, Manager McEvoy, of the Chicago Jockey Club, has arranged with the Illinois Central railroad for a daily car service during I he meeting at Washington Park. Horsemen who wish to race their animals at he latter track can leave Hawthorne about !ยป 1 oclock every morning and return forty minutes after the last race. The run will take about one hour. Secretary Howard has fixed up the polo stables for the accommodation of the Hawthorne contingent as being the most convenient to the Illinois Central track, and affording the best shipping facilities.
