Lena Williams was off well and had clear goiDg all the way. Miss Loretta was also lucky and ran a fairly good race. Mascagni was shut off at the turn for home but finished strongly. Maud Wallace was shut-off shortly after the start and she made up a lot of ground. Clay Jr. showed early speed. Siddubia was practically left at the post.
