BROOKLYN STAKES. The Brooklyn Jockey Club announces the following stakes for the autumn meeting of 1900, to be run at Gravesend. They close Wednesday, August 15, next : For all ages : Oriental Handicap. ,500; mile and a quarter. Occidental Handicap, ,500; mile and a furlong. First Special, . "00; mile and a quarter. Second Special, ,500; mile and a half. For two-year-olde : Prospect Handicap, ,500: about six furlongs. Willow Stakes, for fillies, ,000; five and a half furlongs. Albemarle Stakes, ,000; five furlongs. Algeria Stakes. ,000; five furlongs. Holly Handicap 000; five and a half furlongs. Flat lauds Stakes. ,000; five furlongs. For three-year-olds: Monarch Stakes. . "00 : mile and a furlong. Ocean View Handicap, ,000; mile and a sixteenth. Parkville Handicap, ,000; about six furlongs.
