Annie Lauretta was best, she picked up her field at her leisure and won as she pleased. Lottie Hunter and March Past finished fast through the stretch. The former finished strongly. March Past was as good as left at the post. Sackhem should have been third but Coburn stopped riding him near the end. He showed a sharp burst of early speed.
