DELUAB ENJOINED. At St. Louis yesterday Judge Zachritz issued a temporary injunction against the officials of the Delmar track to prevent bookmaking on the races now in progress there. The injunction became operative at once and is directed against Messrs. Till em, Adler, Cella, the Delmar Jockey Club, its employes, and the bookmakers who have been doing business at the track. HiB ruling also revokes all bookmakers licenses at the track. A dispatch from St. Louis sayB : "Sheriff Joseph Dickmanu of St. Louis served the copy of the court order withstraining the Delmar Jockey Club from allowing books to be made on their coutbo at the track. His mandate was received with no recognition and was being openly violated in the presence of the Sheriff and hie deputies. Dickmann said he could see no betting going on, despite the fact that fourteen bookieB were doing a rushing business." If the mandate of the court has been defied in the manner stated in this dispatch it is more than probable that St. Louis patrons of racing will have other features to consider fully as absorbing aB the task of picking the winners.
