King Pepper is rounding to and showed a glimpse of his early form. Isias race was a remarkable improvement. Demurrer ran badly. Alard Bcheck wants a longer route. He was hops-lessly outrun in the early part of the race, but was closing up in the stretch. Lucent and Candle were outclassed, but ran well and properly placed will give a good account of themsalvas. Kilogram ran the best race of his career, was carefully nursed to the stretch, where he challenged and wore down Belle of Troys apparently safe and winning lead. The latter was probably a trifle short and will beat this kind back easily. Bedeck was badly messed about and tired from following the terrific early fast pace. Sam Phillips was vary sore and outrun to th half by a sixteenth of a mile, but closed with a rush at the end and pulled up very lama. Musjtte displayed brilliant speed, but the weight stopped her at the distance. She is becoming very good again. Ethics had no chance with the midget oa his back, bat will bear watching.
