ERNEST IN CHICAGO It is with pleasure that I inform my old Chicago friends and clients that I am again where I can be of service to them. I have been on the Canadian circuit since the close of Louisville in May until the middle of last week, when I with my two track experts arrived here. While the track and weather have been something horrible, we are notdudes or "parlor" trainers, and while others kept away from the track wo just put on a few extra rain coats and saw what was "going on." If there was a trial or a workout that we missed Ill quit this business. My clients know that all tracks "look alike to me," no matter what its condition. Every track condition has .horses which it pleases most. To learn this is where I prove of value to you, and my intimate acquaintance with trainers enables me to find out if they are trying. I never advertise sure winners, because no true horseman would do so, but anything that I wire you you can safely bet with confidence. Monday I wired "SIG-MUND," which won at 15 to 1. Yesterday I sent every client "WILD PIRATE." which I knew-was favored by the muddy track and would be backed by the stable. "WILD PIRATE" was backed from 25 to 1 to 10 to 1 and finished third, beaten by two short noses. While this tip under my method of doing business does not cost you anything, nor profit me any, I am sure every client profited by it. That is the advantage of dealing with someone that is on the "square" and in the "know." For the benefit of some who may have overlooked my announcements in the past, I wish to state most positively that I am NOT AN IMITATOR. BUT THE:ORIGINATOR of what for years I have advertised as the "MUTUAL INTEREST METHOD," and while bosides having unquestionably one of the largest following in the turf business, the real proof of my true value is that I have subscribers on my list today that made their applications in 1898 and 1899. This fact, together with my years of continued prosperity, proves my clients get the money, as PAY AFTER YOU WIN is and always has been my method of doing business. I DO NO GUESSING; ONLY WIRE WHEN SURE AND KNOW THE HORSE IS FIT. In order to protect my stable friends I wire in code only. For my pay I ask that you bet .00 for me on the horse I telegraph you. Be honest, send me my share promptly and Ill take care of you. To protect myself, I am compelled to insist on your enclosing 25c with your application to guarantee me against loss by refusal of telegrams. Address Fred Ernest, P. O. Box 182, Chicago.
