The former performed to his best form and ran a good race. Ravensbury showed much Improvement over his last two races. He would have won with a stronger boy up. Cherished finished strongly and stood off Ben Chances determined bid at the end with gameness. The latter ran an excellent race and will bear watching from now on. Lou Hazel showed much speed, but tired fast a fnrlong out. Ed Adeck was right there for seven furlongs. Hot appeared to be a dangerous contender a furlong out, but fell away badly beaten in the last sixteenth. The winner, entered for 00, was run up to ,100 and bid in. Won easily; second handily. Six Shooter was much the best. He was not called on until entering the last quarter, where he closed up fast and finished strong and true. Flying Torpedo tired perceptibly in the final eighth, but was the best of the others. Nitrate ran to his best form and appeared to have a winning chance a furlong ont, but had enough in the sharp action of the last eighth. Hunter Raine moved up fast turning into the last quarter, but was well beaten in the final sixteenth. Hermencia ran well for one and one-fourth miles. Wainamoinen tired perceptibly when called on in the last eighth. Zibia showed much gameness in the last eighth and outstayed Elsie L.
