Compass was the "good thing" wired in my code to all my clients yesterday, and if ever there was a good thing on a race track "Compass" was it. The opening quotation on "Compass" was 8 to 1 and under a heavy play from the wise people it closed at 8 to 5 in the majority of books. Only tough luck kept us from cashing. Jockey Mathews had rated her finely, she had a world in reserve, and at the far turn, just when she was making her run, and in third position, coming like a "house afire," she stumbled and fell, throwing Mathews. But for the accident she could not have lost, is the unanimous opinion of the spectators. This is not an excuse made by an interested individual, but this assertion will be verified by every racing reporter who witnessed the race. It was, indeed, fortunate that Mathews had such a good horse under him. He waB taking his time and coming on the outside of the track where the going was beBt and consequently when his mount went down was uninjured by the horseB following him. This accident but koob to prove the uncertainty of racing. This was one that could not have lost, bar accident. In all my advertising, I have always claimed there never was a sure thing on a race track, and I am not a "sure thing" man; but any time you receive a telegram from me you can gamble your life that you are on a. "live" one; will get a run for your money, and will certainty win, bar tough racing luck. THAT GOES, and my record and reputation prove it. I never wire anything excopt I know the horse is fit and ready to win ; that the stable money will t bet on it, and "there is something doing." The proof of my sincerity is I CANT MAKE A CENT unless the horse I wire you wins. Instead of asking money in advance, as do others, years ago, I originated the method of NO WINNER NO PAY. Promise to bet for me on the horse I wire you and you will get "cherry ripe" information. Since July 1st I have wired 3 x horses. Four have won at long odds ; one ran third, beaten two noses I after being backed from 25 to 1 to 10 to 1, and one fell, as above mentioned. That this is absolute truth and facts can easily be proven by a glance at the recent issues of the Bacing Form. If you are on the "square" and can use this kind of information, I want you for a client. Horses names wired in my special code only, which will be mailed on receipt of your application. Enclose 25 cents in your first letter to guarantee me against loss by ref nsal of telegrams. Address Frad Ernest, P. O. Box 182, Chioago. Race Track Information Bureau SUITE 500, 263-209 DEARBORN ST. PHONE HARRISON 3689. TERMS: .00 DAILY. .00 WEEKLY. OUT OF TOWN ORDERS WIRED AT 9 A. M. Will Shelly, IO-I; Pyrrho, 2-1; Won were the good things all patrons received Wednesday. Thursday at Washington Park, First Race 30-1 Shot, Fifth Race 8-1 Shot If you want to win big money with small capital dont fail to get our wire for Thursday. FOR SATURDAY We know of two horses that have received a special preparation for .the races in which they will start. The public estimate on them is entirely out of line, and they are bound to be at liberal prices in the opening betting. We have such positive information on these two horses that we are convinced only an accident can prevent their winning and our followers cashing. Whether you are a winner or loser yon cannot afford to miss this, opportunity. These horses having been prepared away from the present scene of racing makes this information oxclusive. Both will be 15 to 1. FORM LETTER ON SALE AT 9 A. 31. Also sold at Great Northern, Grand Pacific, Wellington and Sherman Hotels in rotunda at news stands ; Kolmans cigar store, 267 Dearborn St. ; cigar stand in Adams Express Building, 185 Dearborn St., and news stand, northwest corner Clark and Madison Sts.
