Crime profited much by the change of riders, was nicely rated to the stretch and then came on. Doc Wood had bad racine luck, was poorly ridden and ran a good race. Joe Doughty ran his race. Lunar was given a very bad ride, taken back twice when in a good position, came fast on the stretch turn and looked like a wiuner, but tired from too much usage. Hi Nocker and Sinfi were poorly ridden. Tenny Belle had a rough trip. Evas Darling, off none too well, was used up in being rushed to the front too soon. The race was run just to suit the winner.
