Radford began slowly and did not get to going well until in the last quarter. Minder kept him on the outside in the good going all the way, wore down the leaders in the turn for home and won going away. Tax Man showed the most speed and raced Little Veronica to retirement in the first half, but tired in the last f arlong. Mint Bed ran her race and had no mishaps. Worthington tired in the stretch. Harold Keeling was kept within striking distance all the way, caught the leaders tiring in the stretch and came away in a mild drive. Lampshade showed the most early speed and might have won with a stronger ride, but" Wilson put up a weak finish. Flora Hooper showed improvement, but faltered in the last sixteenth. Tommy Knig it was interfered with several times. But for that he would have been close up. Irwin Sibley was badly cut off on the backstretch and had to be pulled up. Throw his race out. Wilson rode a waiting race with Firing Line and allowed All Saints and Filibuster to make the running, then came away when ready and won as he plnased. All Saints ran well, showing great improvement. She and Filibuster ran oach other into exhaustion and tired when the pinch came. Opuntia and Presgrave were never contenders. No show betting on first three. F0URTH KACE-6 1-2 Furlongs. The latter was off poorly and outrun early, but came to the extreme outside at the stretch turn and came vory fast in the stretch and would have been second in another stride. Fessy F4 closed a big gap and finished strongly Qconeo swung wide into the stretch to get tho good going, but Castro put up a very weak finish. Almanzo tired in the run home from sotting the pace.
