Kiss Quick was best as the race was run. She got off well and bad clear sailing throughout. Onanetta made up much ground in the stretch, but swerved at the end and bumped other horses. Velasquez ran to his best form. The Phoenician was cut off at the start and ran a good race. Barklyite has improved noticeably. Duela ran a fairly good race-and Weird a bad one.
