MORRIS PARK STAKES. The increase in the value of stakes and purses offered by the eastern racing organizations this year has beon so general and so lavish that it is plain the western organizations will be forced to respond in kind next year in order to retain a fair Bhare of the good horses to serve as star attractions. The Westchester Racing Association has announced a list of thirty stakes for its fall meeting at Morris Park. Six of these are new and liberally endowed stakes and of the others seventeen have been considerably increased in value of added money as compared with last year.. In additiou the added money to the Withers of 1904 iB raised from ,500 to ,000 and of the Ladies Stakes from ,000 to ,000. The added money to the Belmont of 1905 is doubled, being 0,000 instead of the present figure of ,000.
